• What type of application do you prefer?

  You should submit your application using our online application form.

• How far ahead of my preferred start date should I apply?

  As it can take a certain amount of time to review your application and for the selection process, and given that various areas have set start dates, you should always apply as early as possible. Individual positions have different application deadlines. Generally speaking, you can apply for a position as long as it is still being advertised.

• I am interested in various positions. Is a single application enough?

   To keep the system running smoothly, please submit a separate application using the respective online application form for each position that you are interested in.

• To whom should I address my application?

  The name of the person to contact can be found at the end of each job ad. You can address your application to that person.

• How long does the selection process last?

  Depending on the position and the number of applications, the selection process can take around four weeks.

• Is my chosen position still vacant?

  As long as the position can still be found on our homepage, we look forward to your application.

• Which documents are needed for my application?

  At minimum, we require your CV and relevant references. Feel free to include a cover letter or personal statement with your application. If necessary, we may also require special documents, such as your work permit or similar. 

• Do you also accept unsolicited applications?

  German and English are always advisable.

  Besides AIXTRON’s headquarters in Herzogenrath, there is another site in Erlangen.
